University of Queensland, one of the original applicants, has graciously stepped up to host the 2017 conference. Therefore we will be holding our 13th meeting in Australia in 2017. The IAGS Executive Board is very pleased to announce that the Sleuk Rith Institute: A Permanent Documentation Center of Cambodia in Phnom Penh has been selected to host the 14th International Association for Genocide Scholars Conference, which will take place in July of 2019. Khamboly Dy, School Director of the Sleuk Rith Institute, is the local conference director, and Elisa von Joeden-Forgey, IAGS First Vice President, is the conference organizer.

2021 Conference
We will be soliciting bids for the 15th annual conference (2021) next year. Details and instructions will be forthcoming in the first half of 2017.
